Doug
Folland, DVM

Doug Folland,
DVM, Diplomate, ABVP – Avian Specialty
Dr Doug Folland is the owner and chief Veterinarian of Parrish Creek.
He has loved animals and enjoyed pets of various types most of his
life. He graduated from Oregon State University in 1983. In 2008 he
became board certified by the American Board of Veterinary
Practitioners as an Avian Specialist. At home there is a cat, 25
Chickens, 6 children and a wife. His hobbies include gardening, canyoneering, ice climbing and playing sports with his kids.

Crystal
|
|
Crystal has been with us since 1997, first as a
receptionist and then technician. She has exceptional technical
skills and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has a zoology degree from WSU. Crystal loves working
with all of the many and varied pet species we see at Parrish
Creek. She is married and has a boy and a girl along with a dog,
Abby. All of her other pets actually belong to our clients!

Dean
|
|
Dean earned his bachelor's degree in
sociology from the University of Utah and did human services work
for many years. He has finished a degree in veterinary technology
from Utah Career College. Always interested in animal behavior
and learning, he is a member of the Society of Veterinary
Behavior Technicians. He and his wife Debbie live in Tooele and
have three children, three grandchildren, a dog, a cat, and a
goldfish.

Mandy
|
|
Mandy is a graduate of Utah
Career College with a degree in veterinary technology.
She has a
particular passion for birds and bird behavior.
She has 3 dogs, 5
chinchillas, a cat, an English Budgie and several snakes.

Nykol
|
|
Nykol earned her associates degree in
veterinary technology from Utah
Career College. While she loves all pets, she is particularly
passionate and knowledgeable about ferrets. She has been a dedicated
ferret owner for over ten years. She currently has 5 ferrets, 2
cats, a
dog and 2 finches. Nykol began her career as a kennel attendant and
has
worked off and on at Parrish Creek since 1997. She plans on
continuing
her education to become a veterinarian.

Jenalee |
|
Jenalee is our groomer.
She received formal grooming training at the Utah Pet Grooming
Academy
and has had the opportunity to learn from several very skilled
groomers.
She believes in grooming in a safe and caring way.
Her priority is to make a day at the "spa" a happy and comfortable
exprience for your pet.
She loves dogs and has Rattles, a Chihuahua and Dezi, a Pekingese,
at home.
